Our state-approved DWI/DUI and Early Intervention program is designed for clients with little or no previous addiction education. That may be people who have started struggling with their substance use, or people facing legal consequences from a DWI, DUI, or possession charge.
Our Program
The program includes two options: a 12-week track and 26-week track. Classes are held once a week in 60-minute sessions.
Our 12-week track is geared toward teaching a specific curriculum outlined by the State of Maryland to individuals who do not meet diagnostic criteria for a substance use disorder.
Our 26-week track is intended for those who are more at risk for developing a substance-related disorder and need added support by means of alcohol and drug education services.
Clients will find a safe, non-judgmental environment where they can get the support and guidance they need. We understand that overcoming addiction is a journey, so we’re here every step of the way to keep them safe on and off the road.
Easy to tune in
Our DWI/DUI and Early Intervention Groups are now entirely virtual, making it easy for people facing a suspended license to get to group every week. This also means that people from Western Maryland to the Eastern Shore and everywhere in between can join our groups without worrying about transportation.
Making it affordable
Our mission is to reduce suffering, and we help clients afford it. Currently we accept Carefirst BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Aetna, Johns Hopkins EHP, and Maryland Medicaid for clients with a substance use disorder diagnosis. We also offer self-pay options for clients without a diagnosis.
