Yael (she/her) is a recent graduate of Rutgers University’s School of Social Work, but has been working with children for more than eight years. She later served as Program Director for an adult inpatient addictions program and worked on an inpatient adolescent psychiatric unit. Katie has been a psychotherapist at the Resource Group for four years.

Katie feels strongly that clients need to understand what’s happening to them – that their mental health and substance abuse issues are not personal failings.
