Job Description

Our agency seeks an experienced, driven, and empathetic full-time psychotherapist with a passion for treating those with mental health disorders to join our practice. The successful candidate must be LCPC, LCSW, or LSCW-C licensed in the State of Maryland. We are looking for someone to provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

Due to the overwhelming number of community referrals we are receiving, we are currently looking to hire full-time salaried clinicians as well as affiliate therapists.

This is an in-office position, though all therapy services are being provided via telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Qualifications Experience:

Counseling, 1 year (Preferred)

Education: Master’s (Required)

License: LCSW, LCSW-C, or LCPC (Required)

The ideal candidate will:

1. Have an active license to practice psychotherapy in the State of Maryland (LCSW, LSCW-C, or LCPC)

2. Be available to work afternoon or occasional evening hours

3. Be comfortable consulting with psychiatrists and addiction medicine physicians regarding their shared cases

4. Ideally have a specialty area of practice (couples, children, eating disorders, substance abuse, etc.) and/or preferred treatment modality (CBT, DBT, MI, psychoanalysis, etc.)

5. Enjoy working in a close, fun community of practitioners!

Benefits:

· Pay: $50,000 to $63,000. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Main Function: To facilitate enrollment of clients for intake appointments with Staff and Affiliate providers. We are looking for a candidate that is highly motivated, and thrives working in a face paced environment.

Duties included:

  • Timely response to phone and email inquiries submitted via the Resource Group Website, Psychology Today, direct office contact, and referrals both internal and external
  • Scheduling intake appointments with the appropriate provider
  • Maintain Admissions call and intake logs
  • Ensuring new client information and appointments are entered into the Electronic Health Record
  • Creating new client charts for clinical records
  • Rescheduling new client appointments at the client’s request
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly phone etiquette and email composition
  • Ability to prioritize changing timelines and workflows to ensure efficient, prompt scheduling/ and or client follow up
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook
  • Being comfortable inquiring information from potential clients that pertains to treatment, diagnoses, behaviors, and accessing in order to place them with the appropriate provider.

Summary: The Admissions Department is responsible for bringing new clients into the program, and it is the primary function of the Admissions Coordinator to act as the first point of contact. The Admissions Coordinator will be prompt in all communication, both internal and external. They must be able to effectively communicate with the client or referral source to explain the programs and logistics. They should listen to the needs of the client and choose the provider most equipped to treat the presented concerns. The Admissions Coordinator will schedule the client for the initial intake appointment with a provider and ensure that all the needed documentation has been completed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
