Main Function: To provide daily administrative tasks for all providers.

Duties Include:

• Answering incoming multi-line phone calls

• Taking detailed messages and checking daily voicemails

• Checking in clients for appointments and collecting appropriate copay/coinsurance

• Informing clients of outstanding balances

• Scheduling prescriber follow-up/routine appointments

• Verifying client demographic information upon client arrival for appointment

• Faxing/copying/printing as needed

• Sending/calling daily client appointment reminders

• Coordinating daily room assignments for providers

• Following opening/closing procedures per policy

• Other projects as assigned by Support Staff Manager

Key Skills Include:

• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

• Excellent customer service skills in person

• Excellent email composition skills

• Excellent phone etiquette

• High level of attention to detail

• Understanding of medical billing and insurance procedures

• Familiarity with mental health clinic setting and clientele

Summary: We are looking to add someone to our team to oversee the day-to-day client and provider workflow. The position requires extensive interpersonal time with clients and is largely the first person with whom clients will interact upon arrival for any appointment. The Office Coordinator must be able to effectively communicate with providers and clients to answer any scheduling questions and some balance or insurance questions. Clients may have questions about the check in process or their billing statements, and the Medical Receptionist should be able to assist the client in addressing those queries. The successful employee will be welcoming, set and uphold good boundaries, and self-motivating.

Job Description
Our agency seeks an experienced, driven and empathetic psychotherapist with a passion for treating those with mental health disorders to join our practice. The successful candidate must have current mental health license. Ability to supervise a plus. We are looking for someone to provide individual therapy to children, adolescents and adults.

The agency is currently experiencing an overwhelming number of referrals from the community.

Qualifications
Experience:
counseling, 1 year (Preferred)

Education:
Master’s (Required)

License:
LMSW/LCSW-C, LGPC/LCPC (Required)

The ideal candidate will:

  1. Have an active licence to practice psychotherapy (LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCPC)
  2. Available to work afternoon or evening hours (2 evenings minimum)
  3. Focused, professional, a team player, and enjoy working in a community of practitioners.
  4. Comfortable consulting with psychiatrists and addiction medicine physicians regarding their shared cases.
  5. Preferred but not required to have a specialty area (couples, eating disorders, substance abuse, etc.)

Compensation is competitive. Employees with be provided with weekly supervision towards advanced licensure. Benefits also include health insurance, a flexible schedule and generous PTO.

The Resource Group has been serving the Baltimore Area for 35 years.

This is an in-office position, however all services are being provided via telehealth through the pandemic.
