Substance Use Treatment

rise to a greater you.

Our Substance Use Treatment program offers individual, family, and group therapy services for the Baltimore area. Our accredited program has Master’s level clinicians trained to address substance use disorders and any other possible underlying mental health conditions.

The program builds upon a comprehensive addiction relapse prevention plan and group therapy. The goal is to help Substance Use Disorder patients sustain and strengthen their recovery.

Immersive Outpatient Program

The immersive outpatient program at Resource Connect is focused on working adults with a history of substance abuse treatment who will benefit from a multi-pronged approach to treatment. Clients will benefit from a combination of trauma informed group, psychotherapy, skills training, relapse prevention counseling, and self-help involvement.

Clients will undergo a program that is high intensity, meeting with clinical staff (engaging in individual psychotherapy, a psychiatric and/or addiction medicine assessment, trauma informed care, and relapse prevention).

Outpatient Program

After completing the immersive outpatient program, we encourage patients to continue their recovery in our outpatient program. The goal of the adult outpatient program is to help patients sustain and strengthen their recovery.

These are 90-minutes long with a frequency of one to two times per week, and are offered in the evening to help accommodate schedules for working adults.

Patients must have approximately two to three months of continuous sobriety to qualify for the outpatient group.

DUI/DWI & Early Intervention

Resource Connect’s Early Intervention and DWI/DUI education program is specifically for patients with little or no previous chemical dependency education. More generally, it’s designed for those who wish to learn more about substance use disorders. Our program is state-approved for DWI/DUI education for those charged with DWI/DUI and/or possession.

The program includes a 12-hour or 26-hour class option. The right class for a patient depends on clinical recommendations from the evaluation at intake. The classes are held every Tuesday evening from 6 – 7PM (60-minute sessions).
