As a native of Maryland, I attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia for my undergraduate education in Psychology.  I completed my Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Baltimore. While at William and Mary I was active in varsity athletics. I have been active in sports as a player, assistant coach and coach.  My competitive spirit enables me to take on tasks and bring them to completion, no matter what the obstacle; I bring this spirit to my counseling as well.  My mental health career began at Sheppard Pratt, working in a residential center with youth who needed a positive space to center themselves using DBT.  My experience there taught me that people often already have the tools they need to succeed somewhere inside of them. I have been working as a licensed counselor for almost 3 years now and I have experience with a wide range of mental health issues. These include depression, anxiety, interpersonal conflicts, sexual addictions, in both individual and group settings.  In my free time, I enjoy getting outside, going to the beach, and on adventures with my family.
