Therapy
Psychiatry
If you need specific mental health support and guidance, our psychiatry mental health program has a variety of clinicians. What’s the difference between therapy and psychiatry? Psychiatry focuses on healing mental health disorders that have positive results being treated with medication, whereas therapy works to resolve issues through behavioral and conversational methods only.
We have options for medically treating mental health disorders for those who find that talk therapy alone is not enough. We encourage those who find medication management helpful to also include traditional therapy on their journey to building a healthy mind, ensuring you have all the right tools you need to heal.

DBT Therapy
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) combines methods from cognitive therapy (connecting thoughts, behaviors, and feelings), behavioral therapy (learned behaviors and how the environment impacts those behaviors), and aspects of mindfulness practices.
The term “dialectic” means two true, yet opposing ideas. A DBT therapist will guide you through the examination and discussion of those opposing ideas, helping you accept uncomfortable thoughts, behaviors, and feelings as valid, while still recognizing those thoughts must change in order to live a better life.
