Adolescent Summer DBT Intensive Group

The adolescent summer DBT group is designed to help teens ages 14-18 complete the DBT curriculum in a 6-week schedule.  Participants will learn and practice mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills.

An initial evaluation will be completed by a DBT trained clinician. A decision will then be made regarding a client’s appropriateness for group participation.

Clients must see an individual DBT therapist, at Resource Group or elsewhere, while enrolled in DBT Skills Training Group.

This DBT group meets for 2 hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and lasts for 6 weeks.  Participants attend all three days for the duration of the program.
