I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, with a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. I have specialized my clinical training in applied Forensic Psychology, yet have worked in diverse clinical settings and with diverse populations. A bi-lingual (Spanish and English) therapist, I have worked with both adolescents and adults and also serve as Adjunct Faculty in several graduate psychology programs. Specific interests include psychodynamic and developmental processes and their manifestations in emotional, interpersonal, and intrapersonal contexts. I maintain broad clinical interests, I am particularly experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults with behavioral challenges, ADHD, substance use issues, Depressive and Bipolar disorders, trauma experiences, as well as providing psychoeducational services related to major life transitions, such as assimilation to the demands of college from high school, among other areas of interest. In addition, I maintain competencies related to a multitude of psychological assessment and evaluation contexts, including neuropsychological assessment, personality assessment, therapeutic assessment, substance use assessment, among others.
