As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I provide therapy services for adults and adolescents with a special concentration in young adults, ages 18-30. Through my practice, I utilize techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and have training in various additional techniques in order to best meet the needs of my clients. I believe that everyone is unique and therefore requires personalized treatment based on individual needs, goals, values and interests. My goal is to assist my clients in making necessary changes to live happier and healthier lives.
ACT can be used with various clinical conditions, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, anger, family/relationship struggles, and difficulty coping with life’s changes/stressors. Through utilization of these techniques, clients will address specific needs to develop acceptance of what cannot be changed and a commitment to change what can.
